- 1 and 1/3 cups pitted dates (230 grams) (I often use SunMaid dates, which are super-soft.)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- optional: a pinch of salt
- 3-4 tablespoons cocoa powder (or even Special Dark cocoa), depending on how chocolatey you want the balls to taste
- 1 cup raw almonds (crushed)
Directions:
First, blend the dates in a food processor until nicely pulverized. Add all other ingredients accept for almonds. Blend until you have a nice, smooth chocolatey wonderfulness! Spray your hands and a plate with cooking spray and form chocolate dough into cute little fudge balls (any size you want) roll in crushed almonds (I'm allergic to anything but almonds but my dad says they're REALLY good with walnuts) place on the plate and refrigerate.
